The one thing i think we should do, however, in the interests of credentials, is require that all members who create cards have one of the e-mail contact addresses on it; or even all three; Grainne's, Mitch's and mine so as to verify authenticity as a writer for our mag. I believe our authors should get paid and have no problem with regular contributors using their cards for favors. After all, one must consider the time spent in craftsmanship, the money spent on gas and lodging, that they had used what was meant to be vacation or relaxation time to promote their art, but i would be very resentful of someone who accepted favors purportedly to give the favoring party coverage at our site, then never produced anything for us at all.
This would also give us legal protection. If someone passed out Subversify cards that did not have our e-mail addresses on them and was soliciting sponsors under our name, we can deny all knowledge of their hoax if we received no e-mail inquiries. If we receive e-mail inquiries, than we have our finger on the potential author of a piece for accountability. In other words, if you eat a free meal under the agreement that the restaurant will be mentioned in your article (or on the podcast), so be it, but follow through.
I started to go off on a blather about responsibility, but i don't really think it's necessary. Our writers have always taken the responsible voice, which is why we are now going into our third year with an eye on sponsors for our work. We have a dream and we can make it happen because we're subversify strong.

Well, thats just craptastic. I'll go look for it. NOT a tech person here. I'm an 'Ever-learning' type. And, a constant forgetter. I should write a dictionary as I keep making up words that don't exist!!! (stumbles off grumbling about spellcheck and coffee not being strong enough for having a crappy day so far.)

You don't have a thing to worry about, Kim. This is simply one of the main advertising strategies our PR guy suggested for attracting sponsors. What he's really interested in as far as your value as an asset, is your wonderful ability to create humorous responses. He thinks your quick wit would be a valuable asset to the radio show.
