Comedy in the White House

Ever since i discovered RT, i've been rifling through it on nearly a daily basis, enormously happy with this resource which is so alienated from the Capitalist agenda. It contains a perspective, we at Subversify, often feel rumbling in our inner conscious, but don't always have the words to articulate. Today, i stumbled across an article that was a little out-dated but that i still felt spoke volumes, especially in the reporter's summary of the event.

It's so much as i suspected; it's show time for America. Whether laughed at, scorned or vilified, it doesn't matter as long as it's in the spotlight.

Yes I remember watching clips of this on The Colbert Report. It wasn't nearly as funny as the dumbfounded faces of the Bush crew at the Whitehouse Correspondants dinner Colbert was invited to. Those ignoramuses thought he was there to make the Rep.'s look good.

I do take acception to the commenter who called Beck/Palin Muppets. That's just unfair to Muppets. Muppet slander.

Apologies to the muppets are definitely in order. They never did anything to deserve such a low rank to their membership. I suggest the comparison should be made to Punch and Judy, with a bit more punch and a lot less Judy.

LOL! Yes they are definately more like Punch! And BTW it just makes me sad that too many people even my age don't know about Punch and what a debase scoundrel he is.

You mean there's an age qualifier for knowing about Punch and Judy? Hey, i've been around a long time, but i haven't been around for four centuries, although it feels like it whenever someone discovers i still haven't bought my first cell phone. I'll be hobbling on my way now. Chaucer has invited me to dinner and a musing.
