Personally, i believe the Western countries are doing everything they can to draw attention to eminent war with the Mideast so as to draw attention away civil discontent. They are doing all they can to justify a NATO arms build up. If enough people believe if they don't go to war, they will be over-run by murdering Muslims, they will be happy to sacrifice their youth in order to keep their own lives safe. The bad news is the number of people who swallow the lines. You would think if they are so easy to manipulate, we should be able to swing them back the other way, but it isn't so. They just go along with whatever the media says.

If you had told me four years ago Obama would be waging a war against Iran I would never have believed it. Not that I believed in the US before this, but the fact that a BLACK DEMOCRAT would stoop to old Republican ways is just the last straw for me and politics.

It seems all the american media outlets generally went with the same story as cbsnews yesterday; ie. hezbollah and hamas won't be backing up Iran. This shows IMO how ignorant the american populace must be, because hamas and hezbollah are Iran.The haaretz article however is obviously written for a populace that are much smarter than the americans, but still goats overall. www.paramuspost.com/article.php/20120308142323637But at this point I really don't see what the war strategy against Iran might consist of.. The US and Israel absolutely need to get troops on the ground here. There's no alternative; no amount of airstrikes is going to accomplish anything IMO. Somehow I just don't see it happening.. every male Iranian must serve 2 years in the military by law; it's like conscription. All of Iran's male population are trained as combatants. How many troops does the US/NATO army have? |
