Hello. I'm Space Eagle. That's my Cherokee name, actually. I'm a writer, poet, philosopher, videographer, singer/songwriter, and composer. I'm a friend of Astra Navigo from back in the days of Yahoo 360. I'm a Christian, but not religious. I appreciate people of all beliefs and no beliefs as long as they are able to think for themselves. I am disability retired from BP, formerly AMOCO Oil. I had gone to college to be a minister, but left to support my family. I continued to take courses as I worked and am taking online coursed from Yale and Oxford at present. I had a 4.0, was on the Dean's List and was in Phi Theta Kappa at College of the Mainland in Texas City. Nice to meet you.

I'm delighted to see you've joined our group, Space Eagle. Forum discussions are pretty erratic here. Other than kicking the ball around for ideas and topics, most of the activity seems to go on in submissions. Don't let it discourage you. We have plenty of members crouching in hiding, waiting to pounce on a good philosophical debate.
You know, i didn't know Texas City was a real place until earlier today. I was cleaning house, idly watching the television, turned on for my T.V. addicted dog. Judge Judy was listening to a lady recently arrived from Texas City. That woman had one of the longest drawls i ever heard.
Although our magazine has a journalistic side, it also has a literary one. We publish short stories and poetry as well, and are looking for artists to help with illustrations. We have rooms for trying out your experimental work, works in progress, and a theater for building characters. Our goal is to present the cross-cultural, counter-cultural, forgotten, ignored, silenced voices of a global community.
Your connections to BP intrigue me. They are one of the biggest oil producers in the North Slope. As Alaska scrambles desperately to ween itself off oil dependency, i'd be very interested to hear your own perspective as a person who has been on the inside. Also, one of our members, Little Chief, has also worked for the oil industry. If i'm not mistaken, and he'll certainly tell me if i am, he was a BP employee, as well. I think things could become very interesting.

Heya Space Eagle, welcome to the forum.
Awesome haircut, I must admit. We long haired dudes rock!
I also got a bit of deja vu reading your minister background because I've been there too.
Tell me you're not currently in Texas because that would be too freaky. I've been stuck in DFW for far too long praying for the rain to stop.
