Rocky, i've been trying to think of a practical means of archiving yours and Rayanne's photos ever since i saw your abilities. The safest place right now is our library, but it's only accessible to staff and we'd need a quick and easy way of separating out the ones we've used from the ones that are still available. I also wanted a means of making your photos available to our contributing writers. I'll talk with the other staff members to see if we can come up with a good game plan. It might even be best for the time being to open the contributors thread up so you can begin posting photos there, away from the public eye. In this manner, you could at least see some of the articles we are planning to publish and you can put up the photos you think might be useful. An archive with subject reference would be best as it would probably eliminate the need to use google images at all except for graphic art.

The regular contributor's area would be safest as it is semi-private and we could add a room just for photos. Then we could roll them into archives when they have been used as I have been doing with articles.
I'm not sure about availablility but it seems like we could open up a photo/peep show room that everyone could see without much problem.

Where's freakin' Mitch when we need him weighing in on the discussion? He's the magic room maker. Contrary to masculine opinion, the two little words women hear most from men are not, "yes dear", they are "i'm busy".

Not sure what you mean by archiving, but there are many solutions online that can protect/share your work if that's what you wish. As a recently former network engineer, soon-to-be-broke writer I can help the Subversify fam...

Andrew, our photographers wanted a private area where the editors could view photos to use with submissions without the public being able to see them, so we gave them a place in main contributors. We often receive guest writers who drop in with one or two submissions, then go on their way, so we wait a little while to see if they are going to contribute on a regular basis. Once we're satisfied they aren't leaving us, another box opens. This is to prevent guests from being able to see what's going up at the mag before it's published.
If you stick with us, the main contributor's box will open up and you'll be able to see the stored photos as well as submit in private. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our mag; which is only a year and a half old by the way, so any expertise you have in the field of networking will be welcome.
