To our members who might be wondering why Subversify has had a few technical break-down's, it seems our reader volume has gotten too great for our package deal. Even though we were given suggestions by our host provider on how to trim the fat of intruding bots, our legitimate traffic has been averaging between 1,000 to 2,000 hits a day, with energetic links spreading key articles even further. The truth is, we can't continue much longer as a shared hosting site. We'll have to upgrade, which is going to cost more money. We're currently checking into our options, but we are also open to suggestions. At the present time, we are looking at a dedicated server, becoming our own server, or other package deal that can handle increased volume. To help facilitate this, we are also looking into packaged advertising companies. If anyone has expertise in handling large volume websites while keeping the expense low-cost, please feel free to advise us.
On another note, congratulations to Mitch, whose Nibiru article snowballed out like a bat leaving hell, leaving Yahoo news belatedly lagging behind with its coverage of the Nibiru rogue planet conspiracy. Equal congratulations to Bill the Butcher, whose article on South Sudan independence received a decent number of hits when it first came out, but has suddenly gone virile since.... well, since South Sudan has become South Sudan.
Now that we're rockin' and rollin', where are those advertisers eager to clutter up our page?
