Mitch, I once had a brand new car that was totalled and not covered, the resulting fall out was heart wrenching. However to this day it reminds me that "things" are fleeting, it turned out to be one of my great life lessons. It took a while though. And, even Squidward grudgingly gets some joyfull lessons sometimes. Sorry it had to happen on your natal day though.

Ah poor Squidward. Karma's such a bitch to him. I cheer the episodes where that evil little demon Spongebob gets his comeuppance.

Aw, Spongebob feels bad for squidward when things happen to him. See, you are squidward! wishing evil on the sponge!

I must agree with you Grainne, I have commented on articles in the past and found myself overjoyed when the author responds. We the reader's are important after all.
I particularly enjoy Spongebob, glad to have two of the members of that cast within this very realm. I can't imagine a Patrick among us, or if anyone would admittingly attest to relating to such a character. I jokingly called my son Patrick and it upset him for a few days.

Lol, would your husband agree with you Grainne? I guess being Patrick wouldn't be so bad, things wouldn't be so complicated. Life would be simple.

Maya, only on some days and yes on those days he would agree. Patrick-ism is caused by having a career listening to other people's problems, then coming home to your own life and problems.

If Mr. Krabs and Plankton merged together and worked out their money issue -cause I don't have that, just world domination and being right, That would be me.
