I think organic technology is probably the most advanced "machinery" that exists on earth. By comparison, I think our current forms of technology are in a lower class altogether.
For example, plants are basically chemical factories. I believe plants can be reverse-engineered to produce desired chemicals. This would be quite a step up from big labs stuffed with all kinds of expensive equipment. (think medicines, natural dyes, natural perfumes, etc. etc.. The possibilities are practically limitless IMO.)
I believe this plastic eating fungus could probably be genetically modified to digest just about anything. What this means to me is that our garbage could hypothetically be disposed of through biological means instead of whatever we're doing now (over here we have vast fields full of garbage as far as the eye can see.)
And something I've always wondered is how trees move water up along their trunks without any moving parts? How do giant redwoods and douglas firs who are sometimes over 80 meters tall do it?
I think we, people, would definitely need a pump to move water up 80 meters. How do trees transport water opposed to gravity?? I think if we learned to master this technology we could ditch our electrical/mechanical pumps.
I think we just don't understand what plants are at all. We don't get it; we're stupid. And I'm referring to scientists with phds, they are the know-nothings IMO. Average people on the other hand are just absolutely retarded and they don't even count as intelligent beings the way I see it. (I swear people these days think having knowledge is a sin, and whoever knows anything is a scumbag.)
