I sort of remember reading of Dewey in terms of kindergarten curriculum development but he was in the same lecture as twelve others. I shall have to read up on him. As for the babysitting thing, my friend Jules says that while I may go around swinging my alpha male dick around and into any hole that it stumbles upon, in my heart there lies a vagina.
I'm now in the process of trying to figure out if I should say thank you or call her a bitch.

360 needed to die. I still enjoyed the time we had it though... and the other places don't feel the same yet. I'm not a fan of multiply. I'm on facebook and myspace (kinda...) if anyone wants to add me. Otherwise I guess I'll be here

I really hate facebook, however I think we are ahead of the curve at this place. A place for multi-talented people to both discuss, develop and publish, there are a few other places like this but not many. Keep an eye out because I think we are making history here at Subversify.

I recently tried Netlog. Very nice format, but it seems like just about everyone there is in heat. That disappointed me as the bunny jumping crowd is as boring as the tea drinkers. I was originally invited by an English guy and was all amped up to develop some European connections so we can Internationalize our site more, but it looks like it's going to take some patience. The English still ain't talking.

I don't like Facebook it all, though it is quite funny to see how many people I used to know are on there.
I don't especially like Twitter, but it sure helps me get listed in Google, so I can't complain.
I think I'm ok with Subversify, Blogger and Twitter. Any more and I'd be spreading myself too thin.

I'm not a major fan of any of them, I go where people are. I didn't like facebook either, until I got on there and really saw how it worked. VERY amused you like twitter after the stink you threw about them tweet tweet!

Subversify is awesome! But it's not the same as having your own page to whine on haha. Too bad there isn't a way to link all the various places and have them all in one spot, and show when they get updated. OH! that is a money maker, someone get on that quick! haha

There are plenty of places you can go to develop your own whine page. If Subversify was linked with the whiners, the fluff heads and other assorted cannibals of the world of writing, i'd quit. It's tiring enough to sort through all the hubris to find real writers with interesting things to say. I don't give a flying shit about crowds and other obnoxious infringements on my time, which is already stretched rather thin. If those crowds can't entertain me any better than i can entertain myself, i don't need them. Let the Subversify forum remain a place where writers can hone their skills, engage in intelligent discussions, practice their wit and develop a progressive web page. That's what makes Subversify unique. It rises above the mean intelligence quotient of ninety.

well geez. I meant all our friends that were on 360 haha. As some our on blogger, some on multiply etc etc. If there was a way to have them all in once spot so we could all be linked again is all I meant.

Ditto that! It's what I've always said, since you moved it.

I'm serious. Someone needs to make this software and make oodles of money. Something that links all the blogging sites, and tells you when you r friends update.....without having to be part of the same site yourself. Then K wouldn't miss Mitch's updates, I wouldn't have been out of the loop about Savvy's place etc etc.

I'm sorry, Wild Rose. The 360 crowd with its camaraderie does seem lost on the other blog offers, but in many ways, i feel i've moved on, much in the way i moved out of other groups that gradually fell into polite social gatherings. I'm time limited and only wish to work with serious writers. It's not snobbery. It's simply guarding the time i do have. I also work more comfortably in small groups than large ones. I'm able to give more one on one consideration to the discussions and writer's point of view. For this reason, i've greatly limited my blog activity and pay primary attention to those who write for Subversify.
