hi there. My name is Mollymillions, a name that inspired me about 12 years ago when i first started to play with pcs. I'm not a complete william gibson fan,but her cold killing edge and gadgets said more about the woman i'm not, and provided a good starting point for trying on characters. I'm a shy writer, and i'm likely to be more of a lurker/reader on here, but i will try, when i get my confidence up,or grainne nags me enough .by profession i am a nurse, and i'm lucky enough to work with some of the most interesting, complicated people in the world. I came into nursing via a long route taking in studio pottery, community arts, map drafting, student housing, two marriages, five children, and eventually in recognising, at the tender age of 40 that it was 'half time, change ends',and i now find myself living with a wonderful, kind, clever, generous woman. No one was more shocked than myself, well perhaps my mother. Love you mum haha. Anyway, i hope to learn more about the subtle art of writing and to practice the glam exciting art of subversion before i forget how to use it. Ciao bella ;D

Ha! Glad to see you making introductions, I was afraid I was going to have to drag you kicking and screaming. Mol, stop downplaying your extensive...ahem...experience. You have a lot to contribute here and I am eversoglad you have joined in. If you want to get to know a Brit, Mol is a grande woman to begin with.

I'm very happy to see you here as well. I've been hoping for a contributing writer from across the seas, no matter how much s/he kicks and screams. We've got a swine flu article coming out this weekend. I think an interesting follow up from a medical stand point would add a nice touch to the subject. Yes, i love giving out assignments, it doesn't always happen that our writers pick them up. We have plenty of rooms for knocking around your ideas, practicing your writing or joining discussions, so don't feel too shy. We welcome all hob-nobbers.

Hey Molly if you have a chance to think about it there are two things I would love to know your perspective on. 1. I know NHS has been sucking some serious ass lately and being an employee I would love to know where and when you see their policy descisions going wrong. 2. How do you in particular and Great Britian Citizens in general feel about the Roman Catholic church "welcoming" back Anglicans by "allowing" them to continue practicing things like marriage? And doesn't this completely fuck up the whole fight Rome gave Henry VIII about his annulments/divorces. Shouldn't England be pissed that Rome opened arms to Anglicans without pardoning the King and giving legitimacy to his subsiquent heirs? Just wondering.

danke, und loads of food for thought there, i guess i should also point out, i'm not a 'proper' nurse i work on the dark side, in the field of mental health. This won't stop me representing all the nhs on here though, at least until you get another member more usefully qualified. Hoho

Nurse from the Dark Side...sounds like a comic book.

Hee hee, Grainne. I agree. My imagination totally flew away with me on that one. "Nurse from the Dark Side"; black cape, black cap, et. al, lurking above unsuspecting brains with a hypodermic needle... but wait! Here comes Mind Buster. They battle it out to see how shall win over the captive brain. Shall it be freed to blossom and find nourishment of its own, or will it forever be in the hands of Dr. Compuserve?
Forgive me, Mollymillions. That was one hundred percent karlsie speaking out. Most of the time, i cram her voice into ridiculous short stories, but every now and then she jumps out and does a little prancing of her own. She's a brat, so i wouldn't pay a great deal of attention to her.

great now I'm going to thinking all night of Jackie the Ripper, going around giving hookers enemas in the dank fogged streets of England.....

From brains to bottoms... it's rumored that men have brains in both places, but generally use the lower one.
